First use of my Newind Split Board
Ok, I'm very happy with my purchase now that I've finally assembled and used my board. First off I put Zenon foot pads/straps on this board since that is what I use on my Crazyfly Raptor. Being the same size as my CF I forget that its not the same board, but I think this board goes upwind quicker maybe because of the end tips being slightly wider.
There is only one choice to install the footpads but they happen to be exactly dead on with all my other boards. This could be too close together for many people as most of my friends ride with a wider stance.
The board has a lot of flex but seems to be stable at the split. After each session the screws need to be tightened very little, but I'm talking about after riding it for 6 hours. I'm 225 pounds and was a little worried that I would destroy this board, but after 7 days straight of riding I'm not concerned about its durability anymore. I just hope it can take years of travel and riding in all conditions.
